Innovative and tailored Financing Schemes for
Social Housing Refurbishment in Enlarged Europe

VKA2-Projects

RESHAPE

In the RESHAPE project a consortium of direct stakeholders in social housing will:

Demonstrate the preparation for the implementation of the EPBD by planning and testing the integration of energy performance in information systems and operational processes.

Demonstrate the added-value opportunities of energy performance certification (EPC). EPC databases of a building stock will be tested as management tool for developing retrofitting strategies on a building stock level. Furthermore EPC is tested as added value in the communication processes to tenants or apartment owners (i.e. it enables communication of integral housing costs).

Develop practical support tools (guidelines, training materials for capacity building, best-practice examples) that can help housing actors to plan the integration of energy performance certification in their operational processes, in the definition and planning of retrofitting strategies and in their communication services to tenants/owners.

Disseminate the project results on a large scale to social housing actors throughout the EU.
